[Nottingham] What *is* Linux?

Meanwhile, the 5th is open for any favoured or requested talks.

My favoured idea is for a FOSS and "what is Linux all about" general
introduction/talk. As usual, we've slipped into too much high geekieness
of late and its time for us to get regrounded.

Comments invited.

What do ya'll want?!

Any volunteers to talk about what /they/ feel Linux is all about?

I've certainly got my own 'evangelical' ideas passionately for Linux and
FOSS. A mix of two or three others' views presented on the night would
make for a good comparison and discussion for what this is all about and
"why we do it". Any takers?

Aside: Anyone able to forward our club meet announcements onto the
appropriate internal Universities sites/ newsgroups?

Anyone with contacts with the local free rags to announce our Beeston party?

Cheers,
Martin
