Is there a way in stock kernels to disable memory
ranges (when known bad)? IIRC there is a module that
simply reserves bad memory for kernel use and never
uses it. Ah! http://rick.vanrein.org/linux/badram/ and
http://badmem.sourceforge.net/ seem dead.
