Hi Martin,

It depends :-)

On x86 hardware:
    On Debian you need to edit the file:
        /boot/grub/menu.lst

    On Red Hat you need to edit the file:
        /boot/grub/grub.conf

On PowerPC hardware:
    On Debian you need to edit the file:
        /etc/yaboot.conf
