Any worse than what you get with such as BT?...


Meanwhile, I've just had an emailed reply from NTL enquiring about the
problem. Looks like it wasn't my enquiry that prompted the fix. It just
"magically happened".

Perhaps somewhere deep in NTL's network a router was reset or the
routing tables timed out and were refreshed...?
