Does any one have any experience of getting DK CDs to work under linux?
The manufacturers reply to the question is pasted below (
www.gspsoftware.co.uk) . Googling didn't get me very far.
I'm just about to build a pure Linux box for my 5 year old daughter, but
(understandably) my wife says, what about all those educational CDs
she's got?
Any one got any bright ideas?

....I have a selection of your excellent CD-ROMS which my daughter uses.
I am currently migrating my home computers to a Linux operating system,
for reasons of security, stability and cost. Is it possible to run your
CDs under Linux at present? If not, do you have any plans to release
Linux friendly versions? As I am sure you are aware, the Linux market is
a growing and knowledgeable market....
...Thank you for your enquiry.
Unfortunately we do not currently sell or anticipate supporting Linux
compatible products in the future. All our products are Windows
compatible as this is the major market, and to support Linux or Mac
products for upgrades or technical support would not be viable at the
current time.
However, we would suggest that you try to use the products before
discarding them, as we often find that some of the products will
function fine. You may need to launch them manually, then run the .exe
program file,
I am sorry not to be more helpful in this matter....
Unquote.
Thanks,
Iain
