If you connect it up via an ethernet cable, then all should autodetect
depending on which distro you are using. At the very least, it will be
very easy to set up using the standard GUI tools.

Trying via USB can be a lot more involved and usually not worth the
hassle. Working via USB also incurs more CPU overheads.
