Or...

Are you putting in one of the new hot BIG HDDs and it is just suffering
from overheating in the old PC case?

Especially so if you've added it next to an existing HDD?...

Or is the PSU getting stretched even?


Note that many cases are very badly designed and have the HDDs bolted
into a cage with no natural airflow to cool them. The newest, biggest
and best HDDs dump quite a lot of heat.
