And whom do you "trust"?
With "Trusted Computing", the scenario being moved to is that you only
have access to even _your_ _own_ _data_ (and on your own hardware at
that!) as long as you pay your subscription fees to the "Trust" and that
the "Trust" doesn't loose the keys to your data for you...
Sounds very untrustworthy to me!
(And it looks like it is wide open to abuse against the users.)
