And a good select session was had with four of us there.


Amidst the discussions was the opinion that Microsoft is now:

merely fighting off new competition to maintain its present dominance;

is getting ever more desperate;

is suffering code that is unmaintainable and so suffers ever greater
delays for updates;

cannot impose the full wrath of DRM (restrictions) because of the
subsequent killer backlash from users;

is creating a leaking dam that will strengthen FOSS into an overwhelming
flood for when the dam breaks.

One note is that Microsoft now sells Linux!
