[Nottingham] What happened to my kernel?

Thanks to all who gave me advice on this one. I only
worked it out this morning (so haven't played around
yet) but what had happened was that GRUB was set up
for hd(1,0) and hdb1 rather than hd(0,0) and hda1.
strange! not sure how this happened, but it did boot
this morning so I should be able to sort stuff from
there.
