I'm actually logged into a server which uses a CF disk atm
This saves electricity, heat and noise :)
If you're doing this purely for speed, then you should
put your apps onto a RAMdisk. To try it out boot Puppy
GNU/Linux from a CD, then click on ``Word processor'' =o)
