[Nottingham] booting into RAID + LVM

I've never used Mandriva but having / on LVM is usually accomplished
by building an initrd that supports LVM.

My laptop has / on LVM on dm-crypt, and I was even able to set it up
from the installer (Ubuntu Hardy).

grub can't boot from LVM so you can't put /boot on LVM yet.  There
may be some experimental version of it that can of course.
