[Nottingham] Linux disable CPU or CPU core

Folks,

Anyone know this one?

Does anyone know if a /proc or /sys tweak can be used to enable/disable
a CPU or CPU core in a running Linux system?


The nearest I've found so far is to try adding "maxcpus=N" onto the boot
line to limit the number of CPUs used.

However, how do you disable a specific CPU or CPU core for testing?
