[Nottingham] SUSE11.1 help needed

Go for Ubuntu (or Kubuntu since you prefer KDE), easy to set up and use, but
can also get down and dirty on the cli if need be. I've tried other distros
and it by far my favorite, I also didn't have any problems playing any of
the media you specified. I haven't tried anything with RAID but there's
bound to be loads of tutorials on the internet on how to do it, just google
it. I think you'll need the alternate install CD to do so. To run OO.o3 you
need to add an external repository (as it comes with OO.o2.4) but that is
very straight forward.
