[Nottingham] Dead USB Memory stick?

I've got a windows only tool for some flash drives we used to use at
work, it's a bit rubbish though. There's also a risk I suppose of
making partitions that are misaligned with the underlying flash ( a
bit like the problems in the news with XP and the latest 4k sector
hard disks ). I tend to leave USB flash disks as I find them,
formatting wise.
