[Nottingham] Automaticly emailing documents

Hi,

I've used a command line 'mail' before to do this from shell scripts,
if you use 'man mail' it should give you information about the one
available. On my Fedora it's mailx and there are command line
arguments for sending attachments.

I've also used a Perl script to do this before.

Have you considered sharing the documents online and mailing out a
link to the shares, that might suit business needs better, or not. For
example consider

* endlessly growing inboxes
* wanting people to only ever access the latest info
* keeping an official record of the older info

It's a bugbear of mine that important business info can be informally
'shared' - passed and edited amongst some people when it would be
better to have it properly shared and version controlled etc.
