You may be be interested in the story. The Netbook is a Dell Mini 10v
with a built in Broadcom BCM4132 Wi-Fi chipset. Just on occasions when
away, I have had it fail to connect to a wi-fi point. Last week I was
standing the OpenSource Expo (UbuntuUK corner), and the available wi-fi
was from a Belkin F6D4230-4 v1 router. I could not connect to it from
the Dell Mini, but my Laptop (and everyone else's) connected just fine.
When I got back, I went out and bought a Belkin F6D4230-4, and the fault
was exactly the same! The little USB dongle connects to the Belkin just
fine, so I can carry it with me ready for the next problem router I
encounter. So - thanks again.

(I may not buy another Belkin product!).

Regards, Barry.
