Ah...DD-WRT.  I had wondered how malleable the Virgin router was.  Congrats
Rich, you just became my DD-WRT guru.  :-P

 

I'll have to see if O2 will tell me what their router actually is, being
able to run a VPN etc easily could become quite important.

I can confirm that the 50Mbps seems ot be pretty much unlimited for the time
being; 5 students on ours gives it a good workout, but we seem to do
alright!

 

The wireless router they provide can be iffy though; throw DD-WRT on it :)
