Something useful to the group and for newcomers.
One thing I do often get stuck with is for what to suggest for a good
friendly guide to Linux in general or to a specific Linux distro to
gently introduce in newcomers. Also, yet not be too patronising or
long-winded...
There's a lot of jargon and new terminology and new ways of doing
things that more experienced users take for granted yet can be a
show-stopper for those outside of the Linux world. Can all that be
usefully summarised on say just two pages, neatly?...
Given first clicks on a squeaky clean new Linux desktop, what do you do?
