[Nottingham] IPv6 vs IPv4 routing overhead

Folks,


A bit of a geekie question:

For equipment and software and ISPs, how does the routing overhead
compare between IPv4 and IPv6?

How much of a headache is it for ISPs? Or... Why haven't we got it yet
for example locally... (Unless you tunnel over IPv4 to a gateway...)


Secondly, on Linux systems, is there any performance difference for a
firewall/router?
