I have a Brother printer, and  can confirm that they do provide Linux
support and drivers; albeit not one-click solutions, but
that's probably not a problem for people on this list!

There are 'closed source' elements to their drivers, though.  Doesn't worry
me, but something to be aware of if you're strongly 'FOSS Only' in
approach, or use a distro whose developers/supporters take that line!
