[Nottingham] Brightness OSD etc

To answer myself, one can install KOSD and then fiddle the global settings.
This then does what you'd expect, loads an OSD. But, for some reason, it
can't guage the brightness so the OSD itself is actually useless. So I
removed KOSD again.

Still, learnt a bit more about how to configure KDE.

Now....how the friggin' hell do I switch of the WWAN......?
