[Nottingham] Brightness OSD etc

Anyone got OSD for brightness changes etc working on their lappy with KDE?
I can't even find a basic control in KDE other than what's buried under
Battery control.

Yet when the screeen auto-dims/brightens, I get a nice OSD and whilst the
Fn keys do work, I get no OSD for changes made that way.

At least the KDE brightness control is less epilepsy inducing than
Android's which IME can never work out how bright it should be!
