Hi Godfrey,
How about we organise a time to go to Nottinghack to see if we can work it out? They have an electronics lab environment so we can take a shot at fixing the ION.

Hi,
I am part way through a project to convert all my old audio tapes to digital
files. Some of them are radio interviews about the Baha'i Faith, some are
family records of Christmasses past and so on.
I have been using a radio tape player connected to an ION MixMeister that
connects to my computer by USB cable, but yesterday it suddenly stopped
working. The meter indicator on Amarok went to zero and no audio playthrough.
The cassette player is still functioning as I can play the tapes on its own
speaker.
Any suggestions as to what I might use in place of the MixMeister? I have
retired now, so funds are severely limited.
Regards,
Godfrey
