I am sure you have seen this in the press:
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/jolla-tablet-world-s-first-crowdsourced-tablet
Does anyone have opinions on how good/bad it may be? Seems like a decent
screen, OS is continually improving, it can run Android apps etc.
The two downsides I can see are:
1. No mobile SIM. But how likely is one to use mobile data? And, on the
right plan, one could just tether a phone.
2. The battery. It seems rather small. Would this work for more than a
couple of hours?
At €270 (£215) once shipping and taxes are paid, it's serious wedge for
a tablet when you consider that a Hudl is only £129. But at least the
Jolla isn't a locked-down P.O.S.
Unlike the Vivaldi which piqued my interest, this is actually going to
ship. Also intrigued by their phone, I need something to replace this
HTC piece of garbage that I currently have.
