Hmm...these drives must take a massive hit when connected over USB.
Read/Write of 150/90 for external SSDs seems typical, and I need it
powered off the USB. Guess I can measure up spinning rust (storage) vs
SSD (speed) and see how things shake out.
Either one will be faster than the SD I guess!

Found a 128GB external SSD for ~£50 with the speeds quoted above.
