Correct AIUI, the Lords will propose this updated version to the Commons
who will then vote and pass it into law. Maybe.

Indeed. If the LibDems follow the party line with enough Labour opposed,
it /should/ fail. Maybe.

Personally I totally forgotten this was on the cards. Thought it was
long-time dead.
