With a large project in hand, our speaker (Daryl) began researching
various languages and the balance of speed Vs ease of coding. He
picked a scheduling algorithm which worked through the locations of 10
people and pick the nearest job from a pool of 500 until it had
assigned 50 jobs to each person.
He wrote a number of implementations and then turned everything up to 11.

Functional Vs Object, Rust Vs Haskell, two go in – one comes out.

Everyone welcome!
