[Nottingham] Warning: non-Linux post

Oh, how times have changed.  I started IRC chatting to my then
girlfriend and now wife back in 1997.  We celebrated our 17th
anniversary this year.

On the lighter side, I wonder how many of those pages are her side of
the conversation and how many are yours.  I can tell you without doubt
that my wife wrote much more, even though she never learned to type
properly.  It shouldn't have been a surprise to me that she also talks
quite a bit more than I do now we're married.  No wonder men suffer with
"selective hearing loss".  You just have to learn to "uh huh" at the
right times.
