[Nottingham] Installing Devuan

Good to see you on the list. Sorry for the curious install problem...


A bit more diagnostic detail might help please?...


One thought for the Devuan install:

Are you using a separate /boot partition that is formatted with
something that Grub supports (such as ext2)?

Also, if this is for a newish UEFI system, have you got a VFAT EFI
partition set up?...

And does the BIOS/UEFI know to boot from the SSD?

(Have you got the UEFI boot checks silliness disabled?)

((And note that for some UEFI brokenness for boot-up, you may need to
rename Linux to be called 'Microsoft' instead... :-( Wolves and sheep
and chameleons and such silliness... ;-) ))
