[Nottingham] Secure cloud storage

Anyone looked into rclone, google-drive-ocamlfuse, etc?

Thinking of using all the free cloud storage that is on offer for
(encrypted) off-site back-ups and looking for a simple way to do it.
Having a remote Vercrypt volume (or *something*) seems like it might be a
goer, but just wondering if anyone has tried it, performance differences
etc etc.

I've got copies on external HDDs, but am low on space.
