[Nottingham] Hello

Hi, and welcome, Will.

This list used to announce meet-ups on Jitsi once a month but the last one was back in August. They were on a Thursday evening starting around 8:30 pm. I tend to be busy on Thursdays and the timing doesn’t work well for me so I only dropped in once or twice. The participants were very knowledgable but you had to be very much into Linux to feel part of the crowd. Although I worked on Fedora Linux before I retired in 2014 the discussions here often went over my head. And, nowadays, I use an Apple Mac almost exclusively. So I have remained just a lurker here.

I can’t say I’ve heard of Trisquel before - it seems to based on Ubuntu. I wish there weren’t so many Linux distributions. 🙁
