[Nottingham] Not lurking now

How do

This morning I discovered my laptop has developed an internet problem I haven’t seen before. 
No browser can connect or signal but telegram does and works perfectly…
Oh and the Ubuntu software app won’t connect. 
I would welcome suggestions
