[Phpwm] UML Related Question

Hi Chris,

I have just started learning UML. I my opinion UML is a good way to keep
track of a projects development.

It helps with:

New Developers can read the UML and understand how the project is
structured.
You can see major flaws in design.
It makes you think more about the design rather than the coding.
You can make you base classes from the UML!

Theres probably loads more advantages and disadvantages but I am still
learning :)

Thx

Keith

Subject: [Phpwm] UML Related Question

I was just wondering how many folk have knowledge of UML and do they
regard it as a useful tool in the design process? I'm just getting into
building slightly more complex apps than normal using Codeigniter
framework, and wondered if UML would help me in any way.

I asked this a while back but I cocked up the subject line, hopefully
I've done it right this time :)
