(Assuming I understand what you mean by Thinking Time)


That's when you open your mouth, say something to $partner, they say 
"wow" or "shutup you stupid idiot" etc.

In effect, you think out loud; bouncing suggestions off each other. 
$partner may often find holes in your solution that you hadn't 
considered, and vice versa.
