[Phpwm] encryption

Do we have any encryption gurus?
We have stumbled into a problem where data (credit card numbers) 
encrypted in a .net environment on laptops doesn't decrypt successfully 
in php using triple DES. After the event we have found the problems are 
recognised and well documented!

Which leaves the question - does anyone have any experience/thoughts  on 
what encryption methods can be used successfully between .net and 
decrypting in PHP?
