There is a good review of open-source bug tracking systems in the latest PC
Pro magazine (Issue 193 - Nov 2010)

The systems reviewed are:
- Request Tracker
- Mylyn (a bug reporting module for Eclipse)
- MantisBT
- The Trac System
- Bugzilla

In the review Bugzilla came out as the favourite

Recommendations on a decent pug tracking system please.

Integration with Basecamp would be a bonus.
