[Preston] Framebuffer + Nvidia

I just finished compiling a new kernel, but have been unable to get=20
framebuffer to work.

It is enabled in the kernel (gentoo-sources kernel - integrated, not=20
modularised), along with the only nvidia driver listed (for riva cards). =
It=20
boots fine, and displays the framebuffer logo, but it will not switch int=
o a=20
higher mode when passed the vga=3D791 kernel options. (It just clicks a c=
ouple=20
of times.)

The card is a farly generic GForce2 AGP, and the kernel version is 2.4.19=
