I've never had this kind of connection, but if it's anything like the
NTL cable connections I've known friends have, the modem presents
something sane like an ethernet interface, which should be fairly
OS-agnostic.

I wouldn't buy it just on my say-so, though :-)

(Incidentally, you may find you need a Windows machine to show the
engineer when they come round to install it)
