Hello,

I am not a member of this mailing list, but got this message forwarded, as I
have recently ugraded telewest dialup to telewest broadband.

So to answer your question regarding linux and telewest broadband; you need a
ethernet card. I bought an Edimax ethernet card for £5,- and my Debian system
recognised it without much problems. The cable modem telewest provided me
with has both a usb and an ethernet port. Connect the ethernet port to your
network card and it should work after a bit of fiddling.

Cheers,

Mark.
