Initially, you can flush all the iptables rules with:
iptables -F
if you want a quick way to get in. However, I would recommend adding:
-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp --dport 22 -j
ACCEPT
(assuming you are using Red Hat??) to /etc/sysconfig/iptables.
if /etc/sysconfig/iptables doesn't exist you can sav your existing rules:
iptables-save /etc/sysconfig/iptables
and then vi this file and insert the above rule.
you can then iptables-restore /etc/sysconfig/iptables
