A quick note is that there are extensive road works on the section of fylde
road between the computing building and the roundabout. (It is totally
sealed off allowing so no through traffic).
Additionally the CAT building car parks are out of commission.

Subject: [Preston] Ruby on Rails Tutorial
Hey,
Apologies if you are a BCS member and have already received this, but if
not then it may be of interest to the group:
There is a 'coding session' taking place this Monday 19th June at 7pm in
Room CM018 (University of Central Lancashire, Preston). It is free to
attend, and may interest BCS members.
The title is "Ruby on Rails" (an open source web development framework).
For more information, please see www.agilenorth.net
<http://www.agilenorth.net>
Room CM018 of the 'CM' building, on Fylde Road in Preston - see the map at:
http://www.uclan.ac.uk/guide2/maps/new_campus.pdf
<blocked::http://www.uclan.ac.uk/guide2/maps/new_campus.pdf>
The 'CM' building entrance on Fylde Road is by the bus stop shelter
(opposite the campus) - enter through the double doors and CM018 is
immediately on the right.
Car Parking:
There shouldn't be a problem parking after 6:30pm (you can also park on
single-yellows), but if you are planning to arrive early (during normal
working hours), then please note the following: Unless you are a member
of the University or you are an invited guest and have a reserved
parking space then the car parks shown on the map are not available. The
closest public car park is a pay and display car park at the Walker
Street cap park some 10 minutes walk from the computer centre - see:
