Arrived fine thanks.
I was beginning to wonder if we'd lost you though.

That's good news. Do you think you could get some details of the
machine Paul intends to bring though? A heads up on some of the
hardware might be nice. On a Linux machine I'd run lshw to give
appropriate details, I guess MS has something similar Paul can use.
I've made a preliminary booking of the 18th Sept for the Brooklyn
Centre. From 7 - 9pm at the moment, but his might be better changed to
7.30 - 10pm. Thoughts please? If this works I'll try to keep meetings
on the third Monday of the month so we know where we are and organising
things will simpler.
We will be using an ordinary room, but can use a data projector if we
like. They have two we can use. I have make and model details so we
can work out if drivers are available for Linux machines. There is a
kitchen so we can make tea or coffee and depending how things pan out I
guess we can adjourn to a pub after for general socialising. I don't
want this to be the only meeting place we use and still see us going to
the Spotted Cow, but would prefer to concentrate on computer use rather
than beer drinking. ;)
Lastly, the room will cost £3.60 per hour. Now, I'm happy to dip in
my pocket to cover this, but if anyone wishes to help spread the cost
I'll not object.
Toodle pip,
