[Ryedale] old laptop debian installed

when i typed

# ndiswrapper -l
Installed ndis drivers:
net8180 driver present,


but it does not show
 hardware present

its just getting the hardware  switched on as its not lit up.
so it looks like i disabled it in order to install debain.. but i do
not know how to after installation.
