But of course ;)
My main box:
ASUS A7M266
256 MB PC2100 RAM @ 268MHz (DDR)
AthlonXP, 1.6GHz (slightly o/cd XP1800)
Radeon 7500 64MB DDR
20 GB HDD (seagate, ATA 100)
DEC Tulip 10/100 ethernet
Soundblaster Live! 1024
Adaptec AIC7xxx based SCSI (AHA2940U) because its there. I havent got
any SCSI in the box...
My server: (www.mnementh.co.uk) Mostly built from scrap...
AMD K6-II 500 (I shoulda never sold the K6-III 400 though... :-( )
96MB RAM
8 bit ISA video (just in case)
Realtex 8139too 10/100 ethernet
6 GIG HDD (it'll have the 20 soon. I need a bigger one in the main
box...)
APC 650 PRO UPS (got that free!)
last uptime 25 days
It runs a webserver (albeit witth nothing on it)
Acts as a NAT/firewall/router for the DSL line
Runs a Quake 3 server (of course!)
I have a selection of other sh*tty PCs around too.
My partner has the same as my main box, except its a Duron 972MHz,
PC1600, onboard sound and nsh*tia video card. VIA rhine ethernet
(10/100)
MY hub needs replacing with a 10/100 switch.
Then theres the projects...
I've got an Acorn A410/1 and an A540. both similar specs, both stuffed
to the edge with expansion cards.
Im porting Linux 2.5.30-rmk1 to them. I actually have my own
architecture now! (arm26) as the code was stagnating on the arm32
branch.
