Please bring a 'photo ID' to show the porters if you are asked.

     InstallFest

New students or new members are especially welcome to this installfest,
when experts are available to help you install Linux on your machine,
or to help you solve existing problems.  Please, if you bring in a
machine, make certain to include it on the sheet when you sign into
the building, so that you won't have any problem taking it out again.

People with recent Linux CDs or DVDs may wish to bring them along;
people with expertise in various Linux distributions are welcome
to come.

I don't have details yet, but John Ashby has offered to give a
presentation about using loopback and encrypted loopback file
systems.  There may also be a presentation about gramofile and
sound recording/editing, if James has it ready!
