Commercial Wide Area Deployment of Linux
Mark Johnson
As a few of the regulars know, I work for a company that has a reasonable
size Linux desktop installation (current number at approx 700) running the
Debian Woody Distribution, I thought it may provide some interesting
material for a talk. I intend to cover the reasons why we did it, how the
thing hangs together, our experiences with it and the future. I may also
outline some of the other uses of Open Source software in the organisation
if time permits.
April 16 2005, 14:00, usual place.
No plans yet. Volunteers?
