[SC.LUG] Hello SCLUG

Hello SCLUG,

My husband's just accepted a job in Congleton, so we'll be moving to
Cheshire soon. I thought I'd have a google for the local LUG and introduce
myself.

Russ and I are currently active members of Cumbria LUG and the LUGRadio
crowd (avantman42 and Jetlag on the LUGRadio forums). We're both running
Ubuntu on our desktops, but I think it's Debian on the server at present.
Russ is enough of a geek to get paid for it - he's currently a sysadmin and
he'll be doing SCADA in the new job. I'm more of a demi-geek and dabbler.

We'll know nobody in the immediate area, so we're hoping to meet a few
like-minded people through SCLUG. So how active is this list? How often do
you meet, and is it serious or social?
