Hello Jen

I am a newish member myself, and have foudn this LUG to be one of the most
welcoming and friendly that I have had dealings with. There have been a couple
of pub meets in the last two weeks, one in Chester and one in Macclesfield,
though the latter didn't quite work out as planned by the sound of things.

As for the activity of the list, I think it is about right - requests for help
are met with several responses and often spark further discussion, but your
inbox won't get clogged with flamefests as happens with some others.

I recently set up a wiki for SC.LUG on my webspace at
http://davebriggs.net/sclug which is gradually being populated with
information. Feel free to add to whatever you want on there.
