Yes (months later!) the town centre church rooms were quoted to me at
£25/35 per 4 hour stint depending upon the room - rather nice accomodation
but we'd need to have a good idea when we were meeting.

The one a *little* more out of town - but still in Macc - I can get for a
nominal fee - not quite so new and shiny and harder to reach from the railway
station - and we could use a room with very little advance booking - though
if there's a clash the room quality might not be as good. Power available
and if we're very good :-) and don't tell other users of the buildings we
could bring in alcoholic drinks.
